Abu Dhabi: UAE wins two world titles

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), the largest healthcare network in the UAE, has won two prestigious nursing awards.

These include the Nursing Informatics Unit of the Year 2020-2021 Award announced at the GCCE Health Workforce Development Conference and the Outstanding Nursing Quality Award, Nursing Quality Indicators awarded to SEHA’s Ghiasi Hospital.

At the GCCE Health Workforce Development Conference, SEHA’s Nursing Unit was named Nursing Informatics Unit of the Year 2020-2021. The award aims to promote the future of nursing informatics and nursing in a new era of technology and innovation using big data and artificial intelligence in healthcare services.

The second success for the SEHA nursing team was achieved by its Ghiasi Hospital in Al-Zafra Region, which has been awarded the NDNQI Award for the best quality of nursing.

This is an annual award given for outstanding performance in the field of nursing in which the best performing hospital in each category is recognized.
