Abraham Olano will participate in Huelva in ‘The Legend of Tartessos’

Abraham Olano, first cyclist in history to be proclaimed world champion in road and time trial, will participate in ‘The Legend of Tartessos’, All-terrain cycling (BTT) stage race to be held in Huelva next February.

The organization announced this Thursday in a note that it will feature the 51-year-old athlete from Gipuzkoa, one of the best Spanish cyclists of all time, who competed in the 90s together with others such as Miguel Induráin or the Swiss Toni Rominger, and Currently, in the mountain bike sector, he has participated four times in the ‘Titan Desert’.

During his career, he coincided at Banesto with Manuel ‘Triki’ Beltrán, who will also be in the test The Legend of Tartessos, as well as others such as Juan Pedro Trujillo, Paco Mancebo, David Arroyo, Raúl Doctore or Andrea Marconi’s DMT Racing Team.

Four stages will make up the route of this first edition of The Legend of Tartessos, three online stages and a time trial stage. In total there will be 220 kilometers of route and 4,700 meters unevenness, with the day reigning on the penultimate day, with almost 100 kilometers and 2,000 meters of unevenness. The final time trial will be 25 kilometers.
