Abhinav Shukla Slams Silent Bollywood Celebs Over India-Pakistan Tension, Offers to Work for Half Fee

Tensions between India and Pakistan are running high, with Pakistan attempting to target several Indian military bases over the past two days. Although Indian forces have successfully thwarted these attempts, the conflict has prompted several Bollywood actors to voice their support for the armed forces. However, some celebrities have chosen to remain silent on the matter.

Calling out Bollywood stars

TV actor Abhinav Shukla has taken a swipe at these silent Bollywood stars. In a tweet on his X account, he said that so-called iconic Bollywood heroes are being careful about what they say on social media regarding the conflict. He believes that once the conflict is over, studios and producers will rush to make films about it, seeking to trademark stories like Operation Sindoor or the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers.

Shukla’s tweet reads: “The so-called iconic Bollywood heroes are silent and are careful about what to say on social media about #IndoPakConflict! Once this conflict is done and dusted & Studios/Producers make a rush to Trade Mark Op Sindoor or any outstanding sacrifice by our Faujis, which can be…”

Half the fee for patriotic roles

Shukla further wrote that these silent Bollywood stars will be approached to play roles such as Majors and Wing Commanders. He believes they will agree to work for half their usual fee but will insist on a soundtrack filled with patriotic fervor, composed by their preferred musician. “Can you see the contradiction?” he asked.

Abhinav Shukla is known for his roles in TV serials like ‘Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi’, ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’, and ‘Badalte Rishton Ki Dastaan’. He has also participated in reality shows such as ‘Khatra Khatra Khatra’, ‘Bigg Boss 14’, and ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 11’. Shukla is married to TV actress Rubina Dilaik.
