The new york jets hope to win AFC East with addition of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but they have had a huge scare on the second day of the activities organized by the team (OTAs).
Rodgers stretched and did some physical exercises with his classmates, but He was not part of the ball activities due to suffering a calf injury. However, the 39-year-old quarterback downplayed the injury, calling it a mild discomfort he felt while running in warm-ups.
“I sprained my calf in a conditioning exercise before practice, so I decided to take a veteran’s day,” Rodgers said.
Injuries have not diminished his career. Last year he played with a broken thumb and still played every regular season game.. The veteran quarterback had 3,695 yards with 26 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
