Aaradhya Bachchan Petition Hearing in Delhi High Court, Summons Issued to Google

A petition was filed against 2 YouTube channels and a website in the Delhi High Court on behalf of the granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan, daughter of Abhishek and Aishwarya. Hearing this, the Delhi High Court said today that it is a serious matter to damage the image of anyone, especially children, on social media. The court also warned that such fake news should also not be shared in the future.

The court ordered the social media platform to investigate such matters that under no circumstances should such information find its way there and damage someone’s image. The court has temporarily banned the transmission of all such videos and information. Along with this, subpoenas have also been issued to all social media platforms and YouTube channels in this matter.

Not only this, the court summoned Google and all YouTube platforms, which became part of the petition, and asked them if they had changed their policy as per the IT rule amendment, objecting to the YouTube video, saying that all children have the right to live with respect and dignity and it is the responsibility of the platform to stop this type of fake news.

Let us tell you that the 11-year-old daughter of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan had approached the High Court on Wednesday against the YouTube tabloid for reporting ‘fake news’ about her health. In fact, in the petition filed on behalf of Aaradhya Bachchan, it was said that all the misleading information and news are circulating on social media about her, which damages her image.
