Aamir Khan is out promoting his latest film, and he’s been talking about his friend Shah Rukh Khan’s movie “Swades”. What’s interesting is that Aamir never ended up watching “Swades”, despite being close to the director, Ashutosh Gowariker.
Why Aamir skipped “Swades”
Aamir said in a recent interview that he found the story of “Swades” boring. He even told Ashutosh about it. The film eventually starred Shah Rukh Khan and received great reviews. Aamir claims he never had the time to watch “Swades”.
Aamir’s rejection of “Swades”
Aamir had rejected “Swades” when it was offered to him. Despite this, he attended the film’s muhurat shot. At the time, he was working on “The Rising” and had a long beard, which can be seen in photos from the event.
Other films Aamir rejected
Aamir didn’t just reject “Swades”. He also turned down “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, which eventually starred Salman Khan. Aamir had suggested Salman’s name for the role. Other films he rejected include “Darr”.
