Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya is set to make his Bollywood debut with Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan. Naga Chaitanya joined the ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ team in July this year when he was filming the movie in Ladakh. The movie Lal Singh Chaddha is a Hindi remake of the Hollywood movie Forrest Gump. Tom Hanks played the main role in this film released in 1994. Naga Chaitanya said that no one can plan a movie with Aamir Khan. Giving information on how he got the chance, Naga said: ‘He got a call from Aamir Khan. After discussing the script, he went to Mumbai to discuss the final decision. Then after that I soon became part of the movie ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’. Naga further revealed that Aamir Khan was impressed after seeing some of his performances. Aamir felt that he was suitable for that role in his mind.
Naga Chaitanya will be seen playing the role of Aamir Khan’s friend in the movie ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’. Directed by Advait Chandan, this film is an official remake of the Hollywood blockbuster ‘Forrest Gump’. Kareena Kapoor Khan has the lead role with Aamir in this movie.
