Aamir Khan had auditioned for the role of Ravi Kishan, revealed Kiran Rao

Fans are eagerly waiting for Missing Ladies directed by Kiran Rao. Both Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan are currently busy promoting the film. During the promotion, he reveals many secrets related to the film. Now Kiran Rao has revealed that her ex-husband Aamir Khan had auditioned for the role of Ravi Kishan in the film. But Kiran refused to cast him in the role. Kiran also shared the reason for not casting Aamir:

Kiran Rao spoke to news agency ANI about the cast of the film. He told that Aamir liked the story of the film and wanted to act in the film. Kiran said, “Aamir really liked this character and he auditioned for it too.” But I felt that since he is a star, when he plays this character, there will be higher expectations from him. Aamir will give star baggage to the character.

Kiran said, “We wanted someone who would suit this character.” Ravi Kishan is fantastic. I think no one can be better than him.

Talking about Missing Ladies, Nitanshi Goyal, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Srivastava and Chhaya Kadam will be seen in the lead roles. This film was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival and received a standing ovation. Now this film will be in theaters on March 1st. This film was directed by Kiran Rao.
