A1 Padel Secures Top 100 Players with Fabrice Pastor and Nox Backing

The sport of padel is experiencing rapid growth worldwide, and one of its professional circuits, A1 Padel, has taken a significant step forward. At least 15 top players, ranked within the top 100, have joined the circuit, which was promoted by Fabrice Pastor in 2023. This move is expected to have a major impact on the sport.

Several factors have contributed to this development, including the reduction of tournaments organized by Premier Padel, which has led some players to consider alternative options. The relationship between A1 Padel and major sponsors like Nox and Adidas has also played a role in attracting top players. Some leaders of the circuit may also make the switch, although this has not been confirmed.

The A1 Padel project aims to remove traditional obstacles that hinder players’ ability to pursue a professional career. To achieve this, the organization intends to coordinate with other circuits, allowing players to plan their annual competition calendar and have access to all available options.

Upcoming Tournaments

A total of 18 tournaments are scheduled for the 2025 season. The new additions to A1 Padel include prominent players such as Álvaro Solá, Aimar Goñi, and Juan ‘Coquito’ Zamora, who were drawn to the circuit due to its media exposure and impact. This not only helps players secure sponsorships but also provides them with access to training centers and academies, which are currently being developed in various locations around the world, starting with Spain. In the previous year, A1 Padel generated 20 million published articles, resulting in a significant advertising impact valued at approximately 70 million euros.
