A vehicle emits an average of 46 tons of CO2 into the environment

The sustainable mobility expert added that electric vehicle adoption is expected to continue to rise due to the reduction in battery costs, improvements in vehicle autonomy and the growing awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability.

That is why, he said, “it is estimated that in the coming years there will be a Significant expansion of stations in the Dominican Republicboth in public spaces and in homes and workplaces,” added Flores.

“Electric mobility has the support of the Superintendency of Electricity, which has given us the way to massively install chargers throughout the country, so much so that we currently have more than 600 public and private chargers from Manzanillo to Punta Cana”, affirmed the expert in sustainable mobility.
