A Taliban governor was killed in an explosion in Afghanistan’s Balkh province

As a result of the explosion in Balkh province, the important leader and governor Maulvi Muhammad Daud Muzamil has died.

According to the report, an explosion occurred in the governor’s office building in Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province, as a result of which the governor of the province, Maulvi Muhammad Daud Muzmal, and 2 other people were killed.

Balkh Police Spokesman Mohammad while confirming the blast said that the blast took place on the second floor of the Governor’s office around 9 am on Thursday.

Mohammad Asif Waziri said that the cause of the explosion could not be immediately known. Police are investigating and more details will be released as the situation becomes clear.

Maulvi Muhammad Dawood Muzamal is considered as the main leader of the count, he has also been the Deputy Minister of Interior and the Governor of Nangarhar.
