A staunch opponent of Modi challenged the central government

Mumbai: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has challenged the Modi government.

According to Indian media reports, the war of words between the top leaders of the ruling party Trinamool Congress and BJP in West Bengal has reached its peak.

As the raiding campaign of CBI, Enforcement Directorate is gaining momentum, so is the rhetoric being used by political leaders.

During the West Bengal Assembly session, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee slammed the Modi government and accused the opposition parties of misusing investigative agencies.

He claimed that the investigating agencies would find a mountain of notes if they raided the houses of BJP MPs, but for that they would have to conduct an honest investigation.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee challenged Modi and said that if you came to power to end corruption, why are you targeting opposition parties and leaders? What can you gain by eliminating opposition parties and leaders?
