A shooting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas could have claimed several lives

A shooting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas sparked it “Multiple victims”the city’s municipal police said in their initial estimate of the incident, adding shortly after that a suspect had been “neutralized.”

Apparently the suspect fired several shots on the university campus and injured several people, although it is not yet confirmed whether there are any injuries or fatalities.

Through X, the university had urged students to “run, fight and hide.”

The Metropolitan Police Department said in its X account: “There currently appear to be several victims.“.

The images posted on social media show a large police presence and armed agents inside the campus.

The White House limited itself to saying that it was following events very closely.

The shootings are “an epidemic that the President (American Joe Biden) took very seriously. That’s why we took action. We are monitoring the situation very closely,” presidential spokeswoman Karine Jean said in her daily press briefing. -Pierre.
