Riyadh: Two vehicles traveling on a mountain highway in the Saudi capital suddenly fell into a ditch, as a result of which four people were killed and five others were injured.
According to Arab media reports, two vehicles accidentally fell from the height of a mountain highway in the northwestern part of Riyadh, killing four people and seriously injuring five others.
The Civil Defense Department said that as soon as the accident was reported, rescue units rushed to the spot and rescued the injured. The rescue units included an air ambulance.
The five injured in the accident were rushed to the hospital by air ambulance after rendering first aid.
The bodies of the four victims were kept in a cold storage. The Regional Spokesperson for Civil Defense has directed that citizens and foreigners traveling in the area should take special precautions.
