Former model Sheila Kennedy has sued Axl Rose, singer of the world-famous band group Guns N Roses, for sexual harassment. According to her lawsuit, she was attacked and sexually assaulted by the popular rock musician in a New York hotel room in 1989.
According to the lawsuit, Ms. Kennedy suffered from anxiety and depression as a result of the attack. He suffered from this depression for many years.
Kennedy is seeking damages from Rose for intentional infliction of emotional distress and sexual violence in the lawsuit. His attorney requested a jury trial. The lawsuit was filed in New York Supreme Court. The lawsuit was reportedly filed under a law that allows sexual assault survivors in America to file lawsuits against their attackers.

Ms. Kennedy said in her complaint that she was 26 years old at the time of the incident. She was modeling for Penthouse magazine in 1989 when she met Mr. Rose at a New York nightclub. The case says that Mr. Rose invited Ms. Kennedy and another model to an alcohol and drug party in her hotel suite. Rose pushed Kennedy against a wall and kissed him during their first meeting.
Since the attack, Ms. Kennedy has suffered emotional, physical, psychological and financial impacts. He then suffered from symptoms similar to post-traumatic stress disorder while listening to the music of Guns N Roses. This was alleged in the case.
Meanwhile, Axel Rose’s representatives did not respond when international media contacted the BBC to inquire about the case. But Rose’s lawyer, Alan S. Gutman, denied Ms. Kennedy’s allegations in a statement, CNN reported. He said, simply put, this incident never happened. Mr. Kennedy should never have met. Rose doesn’t remember. These are unfounded allegations.
