ISLAMABAD: A tragic fire incident took place in a hotel in Makkah in Saudi Arabia, in which 8 Pakistanis were killed.
Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said in a statement that 8 Pakistanis were killed and 6 injured in the Makkah hotel accident. Our mission in Jeddah is in contact with the local authorities for relief work.
On April 20, a Pakistani family in Saudi Arabia, on their way to Riyadh after performing Umrah, was involved in a traffic accident near Al-Qasim, in which 9 people were killed.
The victim’s family belonged to Nankana Sahib’s neighboring village Islamnagar and Chak 18. Among the dead were women and children.
Last August 16, 6 Pakistani laborers were killed in a tragic traffic accident in Saudi Arabia. There was a terrible collision between the workers’ car and a trawler.
