A professor who called a Muslim student a terrorist has been suspended

Bangalore: The Modi government has been forced to suspend a professor who called a Muslim student a terrorist.

A professor at a university in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, called his Muslim student a terrorist in class, after which the students raised their voices in the classroom.

Manipal Institute of Technology has formed an inquiry committee after suspending a professor who likened a Muslim student to a terrorist.

A statement issued by the institute said that there is no room for discrimination and hate speech in the institution, the said incident in which a professor behaved inappropriately is unacceptable.

It should be noted that for calling a Muslim student a terrorist, the student made the teacher realize how he could call a student a terrorist while being in the circle of discrimination on receiving inappropriate remarks from the teacher.

On the response of the student, the teacher said that you are like my son, to which the student replied that you will call your son a terrorist? The teacher immediately replied, “No,” and I apologize to you.

The video of this entire conversation went viral on social media, which not only put pressure on the Modi government but also on the Manipal Institute of Technology and they were forced to take action against the professor.
