This is the mayor of Tunja (Boyacá), Mikhail Krasnov, who also relied on the spiritual help and strength of a Catholic priest to bless his office with holy water.
This Russian professor was a trend because he won the elections in this intermediate city in Colombia. However, he was surprising because he was a believer and entrusted the future of his administration to the priest Elfy Bernal, who was supposed to carry out a spiritual cleansing of the office.
Krasnov said in an interview with radio station Caracol that he would “check the office in case they leave us some recording devices” and then take the priest with him “to pour holy water and remove the corrupt energy.”
In a video shared by the mayor of Tunja on his X account (Twitter), Krasnov can be seen touring his new office with the religious while throwing water.
