A member of Prince Harry’s security believes that the pursuit may have killed

New York (BLAZETRENDS) have ended tragically, with fatalities.

In exclusive statements to CNN, Chris Sánchez, who is part of the security team of the Dukes of Sussex, referred to the persecution to which several photographers subjected them two days ago after leaving the Women of Vision awards gala, which had venue at the Ziegfeld Ballroom, a Manhattan event venue.

“In the end, no one was hurt and the couple arrived safe and sound, but shocked, to the apartment where they were staying,” Sánchez told the US chain.

He added that he had never “seen or experienced anything like it. What we were dealing with was very chaotic. There were about a dozen vehicles: cars, motorcycles and bicycles” around the couple, Sanchez said.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex suffered an “almost catastrophic” persecution by paparazzi

Danger to citizens in pursuit

In his opinion, there was danger even for citizens “at various times. It could have had fatal consequences. (The persecutors) got on the sidewalk and jumped red lights. At one point they blocked the limo (which was carrying the couple) and started taking pictures until we could get out.”

Sánchez expressed his concern for Prince Harry and Meghan to CNN. “But more for the public, because they (the paparazzi) were being very erratic. People were on the sidewalks and crossing streets and (photographers) were running red lights.”

The couple changed cars more than once

The couple changed cars “more than once” during the chase, Sanchez added. In fact, the couple were seen leaving the awards ceremony in a black car and were later seen in a yellow taxi.

After the incident, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were “scared, exhausted, but relieved to be back” at the place where they were staying, he said.

NYPD sources told CBS New York that several cars followed the vehicle Harry and Meghan were in after attending the awards show at the Ziegfield Ballroom in midtown Manhattan, and that they are still reviewing some videos. to reconstruct exactly what happened.

Reaction of the mayor of New York

For his part, the mayor of New York, the Democrat Eric Adams, also spoke about it and said that the photographers who persecuted the dukes were “reckless and irresponsible.”

“In the information I received, two of our agents could have been injured,” the mayor noted at a press conference.

“I don’t think there are many of us who don’t remember how their mother died,” Adams added, referring to the tragic accident that killed Diana of Wales in August 1997 when she and her partner, Dodi Al Fayed, were chased by several motorized photographers following their vehicle to try to take a snapshot of them.

“It would be horrible to have lost an innocent bystander during a chase like this,” the mayor said.

Harry and Meghan, who married in the United Kingdom on May 19, 2018, announced in January 2020 that they were disassociating themselves from the British monarchy to lead an independent life in North America, where they first lived in Canada and currently in the US city of The Angels.
