Two Argentine businessmen, the former minister of Mauricio Macri Luis Miguel Etchevehere and the main financier in the electoral campaign of Alberto Fernández, Wrenón Grenón, They have been prosecuted this Friday for the crimes of fraud, fraudulent administration and company emptying.
Both have been at the gates of a trial as a result of the complaint filed by Dolores Etchevehere, who has denounced the emptying of companies that historically belonged to his family as ‘El Diario’, a newspaper that has been in the province of Entre Ríos for more than a hundred years.
Although he has also pointed out that country land, real estate and shares of livestock or agricultural companies have also suffered these practices, according to the Argentine newspaper ‘La Nación’, for which other of his relatives will have to face trial.
Grenón joined the Etchevehere family business as a partner after the company split in two and one of the parties decided to put its shares up for sale. After that, the then governor of Entre Ríos took over these shares through his government officials, all with the aim that Grenón would buy them later.

The relatives processed by the Justice of Entre Ríos are owners of the companies thanks to the inheritance rights of the late businessman Luis Félix Etchevehere, after which his daughter Dolores claimed that they had not recognized her rights of the same type for which she initiated a court battle in 2020.
Now the magistrate has determined to prosecute them because she considers them "necessary participants" of fraud, while Viviana Graciela Grenón and Germán Esteban Buffa will be for fraudulent administration.
