A Dominican who shot a vehicle occupied by two people in Spain is arrested in Madrid

The Civil Guard arrested in Madrid, Spain, the author of a shooting registered in Ibiza on December 22. The alleged perpetrator of the events is a 26-year-old man of Dominican nationality.

As reported by the Armed Institute, on the afternoon of December 22, a man fired two shots with a short weapon at a vehicle occupied by two people. The event, which took place at the exit of a supermarket parking lot, caused no injuries. The shooter then fled.

“In those days, efforts to locate the individual began with extensive search devices throughout the island of Ibiza, in which all the security forces participated. Despite the numerous surveillance and search operations, the author managed to leave Ibiza using someone else’s documentation,” they explained in a press release.

After the time elapsed, the Civil Guard ended the investigation with the arrest of the suspect in Madrid on March 13.

Presented before the judicial authority of Madrid, this decreed the imprisonment of the detainee and the beginning of the negotiations for his transfer to Ibiza, at the disposal of the Court responsible for the case.
