Microsoft Copilot will eventually bring ChatGPT AI to Windows 11 PCs, but you don’t have to wait that long to try out a ChatGPT app on your computer.
a developer raised for clippie, endowing him with new powers of artificial intelligence. This unofficial version of Clippy will bring ChatGPT to your computer in the form of Microsoft’s famous Office assistant.
When Microsoft enabled Clippy in Office decades ago, it wanted to offer its customers a virtual assistant long before such software solutions existed. In 2023, Microsoft released Copilot, a next-generation assistant for Windows computers, which will replace Cortana and introduce new generative AI capabilities.
Until then, you can use unofficial FireCube Clippy app. sand can be downloaded for free from the Microsoft Store.

The app adds a Clippy icon to your desktop. This unofficial Clippy works on Windows 10 and Windows 11. Tapping the Clippy icon will take you to OpenAI’s ChatGPT 3.5 free generative AI bot. It’s the same ChatGPT you use in your browser.
As fun as turning Clippy into a ChatGPT app sounds like, there is a problem with the app. You will need an OpenAI key to use ChatGPT through this unofficial Clippy app. This can significantly restrict access. Apparently FireCube is looking for a way around the OpenAI key requirement.
