In Kolkata, India, a man kidnapped and killed a 7-year-old girl at the behest of a magician.
According to media reports, the police arrested the accused, Alok Kumar, who, while confessing to the crime, said that he had done it on the instructions of the magician.

On the instructions of the magician, the accused abducted a 7-year-old girl from her neighborhood, took her to a flat and strangled her. The body of the girl was recovered from the flat.
According to the police, the girl got an injury on her head which was probably caused by a hammer. They are investigating the statement given by the accused, after which the arrest of the magician will also be carried out.
The relatives of the deceased protested outside the police station and vandalized several vehicles, after which three people, including a woman, were detained.
