Spider-Man No Way Home: Towards a Return of Topher Grace’s Venom?

In all the battery of rumors around Spider-Man: No Way Home, it is always difficult to see clearly. While it is emphatically announced at the casting, Andrew Garfield, the Spiderman version Sam raimi has always maintained that he is not in the film and has announced that fans are likely to be greatly disappointed with the end result. Regarding the Green Goblin by Willem Dafoe and Doctor Octopus by Molina, the deal seems different and their feedback seems well validated like those suggested by theSandman (Thomas Haden-Church), Electro (Jamie Foxx) and the Lizard (Rhys Ifans).

We do not really know what will be the nerve center of this No Way Home so much the stakes for the continuation of the course of the weaver in the cinema can take different forms. Marvel wishes to develop Sinisters Six thanks to Sony and a connection with the universe of MCU through Venom: Let There Be Carnage seems very topical. It is therefore far from Avengers that this future seems to be emerging.

While most of the bad guys should come back, there’s one big missing: the Topher Grace’s Venom. Mocked by fans in the 2007 film for his hyper-thin build, the character did not leave audiences fondly remembered. Asked by a AMA Reddit, Topher Grace has opted for a drastically different approach from that ofAndrew Garfield : the total irony.

“Please keep it to yourself, but yes, I’m in it. The plot begins with Peter Parker (Tom Holland) disappointed that everyone knows his identity, then a completely insane spell is done by Dr. Strange and Dr. Octopus (Alfred Molina) enters his dimension. Then Electro and the Green Goblin jump out of one of these “energy circles” […]. Then Tom Hardy and I go out and we fight each other and I win, it’s like it’s not even a fight, I kick his ass immediately. Not to say too much, there are also a few actors from the original series. Spiderman from the 70s, a crossover with Aquaman and Batman, Eve, the robot from Wall-E and the ghost of Han Solo from Rise of Skywalker (Thanks Disney). ”

There is no doubt that the 43-year-old actor knows how to handle irony perfectly and for good reason. His Venom now seems to be permanently dead and buried in favor of Tom Hardy’s, and he should not reappear in the spans of the MCU. Response on December 15, 2021.
