No Way Home: Fans are campaigning for Bruce Campbell (Raimi’s Aborted Mysterio) to appear in the movie!

The trailer of Spider-Man: No Way Home arrived on the Internet yesterday and has already created a huge buzz on the web. Fans have already indulged in multiple theories about the handful of images they were able to benefit from. The film will officially launch the mutiverse, since the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) and Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina) sign their returns and that the most seasoned fans have noticed the presence ofElectro (Jamie Foxx), the’sandman (Thomas Haden Church) and even Lizard (Rhys Ifans). If these arrivals take place, Spider-Man: No Way Home would therefore include the trifle of five villains and there would not be missing a single one to complete the Sinisters Six, this iconic team of villains who want spider-man skin.

If we can already oust Scorpion and Vulture of No Way Home (since they could be kept aside for Sinisters Six headed by Sony – with Kraven and why not the Shocker), there remains a villain who puts everyone in doubt: Mysterio.

Interpreted by Jake Gyllenhaal, Mysterio is “dead” at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home. However, he will have succeeded in passing Peter Parker for the person responsible for his death, by hijacking a video of him during their final fight. His legacy will be largely at the heart of No Way Home since public opinion seems to side with the illusionist. Yet if Marvel chooses to quickly collect the Sinisters Six through the multiverse, it is hard to imagine Mysterio, an important member of this team, not to be part of the gang.

If his death remains, for many, a huge lie, the character is still absent subscribers in the promotion of the new film. It remains to be seen if Marvel will communicate on this subject or if they prefer to hide the surprise of his return. In the meantime, fans fervently wish the return of Bruce campbell, who was to embody Mysterio in a possible Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 4. In the second and third film of the adventures of the Spidey version Tobey Maguire, Bruce Campbell embodied the vigil of the theater where performed Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst). Fans are hoping his version will arrive in No Way Home to complete the Sinisters Six.

Mysterio

One of the major problems with this comeback, however, could be Bruce campbell himself since the actor previously told Comicbook.com that he had absolutely no interest in playing a famous comic book character since he was afraid of being locked into that role for a long time:

“In big blockbuster movies, every time I see an actor being cast as a character, I wince, because I’m like, ‘Oh, that poor **** son is going to be stuck in that costume for 10 years. If the shooting schedule is seven months of shooting, you get your month vacation in the Bahamas then, and then you promote the movie for three months, then come back to the sequel, back in that same fucking costume. ”

There is no doubt, however, that the actor could perhaps accept a unique engagement with Marvel just to reappear in No Way Home, but in this case, it will be necessary to wait for new unpublished images… Answer on December 17th.
