Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the March 2026 catalog additions for its PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscription tiers on Wednesday. Nine titles will join the service on March 17, replacing several departing releases.
The updated roster highlights a structural shift in Sony’s distribution strategy. The company is actively phasing out PlayStation 4 exclusive additions in favor of PlayStation 5 and cross-generation software to populate the digital catalog.
The Extra tier receives eight games this month. The selection includes the PlayStation 5 versions of “Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2,” “Madden NFL 26,” “Metal Eden,” and “The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria.” Subscribers will also gain access to both the standard and Ultimate editions of “Persona 5 Royal,” alongside “Astroneer” and “Blasphemous 2” for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
The Premium tier adds a single legacy title. The 2005 PlayStation Portable fighting game “Tekken Dark Resurrection” will be playable on current consoles. This formal catalog reveal aligns with a leak published by French industry researcher billbil-kun on the Dealabs platform one day prior, which detailed the roster before Sony announced the lineup.
The verified list invalidates widespread internet reports suggesting “Final Fantasy XVI” and “Dragon’s Dogma 2” would join the subscription service this month. Neither title is included in the March update.
Four games will exit the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalog on March 17 to accommodate the incoming software. “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge,” “Paradise Killer,” “Cris Tales,” and “Redout 2” will be removed from the service.
