Sony Announces Nine PlayStation Plus Extra And Premium Games For March 2026

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced on March 11, 2026, the addition of nine titles to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscription tiers. The catalog updates, featuring “Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2” and “Persona 5 Royal,” will become available for download on March 17, 2026.

The March lineup allocates eight games to the Extra tier and one classic title to the Premium tier. This software roster update coincides with an ongoing Xbox Game Pass overhaul by competitor Microsoft, maintaining the scheduled monthly rotation model for the PlayStation platform.

The Extra tier additions include the cooperative shooter “Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2” for PlayStation 5, the role-playing game “Persona 5 Royal” alongside its “Ultimate Edition” for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, and the sports simulator “Madden NFL 26” for PlayStation 5. The tier also receives the first-person shooter “Metal Eden,” the survival-crafting title “The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria,” the action-platformer “Blasphemous 2,” and the space-exploration game “Astroneer.”

The Premium tier addition is the 2005 PlayStation Portable fighting game “Tekken Dark Resurrection,” playable on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. In tandem with the nine incoming games, six titles are scheduled to leave the Extra and Premium catalogs in March, including “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge,” “Paradise Killer,” and “Cris Tales.”

The official announcement corroborated an earlier report from industry insider billbil-kun, which correctly identified the nine titles and debunked unconfirmed rumors that “Final Fantasy XVI” and “Dragon’s Dogma 2” were joining the service. All PlayStation Plus members have until April 6, 2026, to claim the base Essential tier games: “Slime Rancher 2,” “Monster Hunter Rise,” “PGA Tour 2K25,” and “The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road Collection.”
