ENHYPEN Confirms Heeseung Departure For Solo Career Six Member Lineup Set

K-pop powerhouse ENHYPEN is officially downsizing. BELIFT LAB announced on Tuesday, March 10, that foundational member Heeseung is leaving the group to pursue a solo career. The decision stems from a divergence in personal musical vision compared to the relentless demands of the group’s ongoing global touring schedule.

The departure drops the active roster from seven members to six. Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki will continue all upcoming promotional schedules without interruption. Heeseung did not terminate his agency contract and remains signed to BELIFT LAB as he shifts focus to his individual music releases.

The confirmation arrived via official label channels and a handwritten letter posted to the fan platform Weverse on Tuesday local time. Heeseung expressed gratitude to his bandmates and the fandom, stating his intention to return soon as a soloist. BELIFT LAB noted the separation followed extensive internal discussions regarding the career trajectory of the 24-year-old artist.

Heeseung debuted with ENHYPEN in November 2020 after finishing fifth on the HYBE and CJ ENM survival television show I-LAND. Recognized heavily for his vocal and behind-the-scenes production contributions, his exit represents a major structural shift in the global entertainment market for the chart-topping act.

The remaining six members of ENHYPEN will immediately begin promoting their upcoming schedules and tours as an adjusted unit.
