Portuguese club Vizela is intensifying its focus on defensive solidity after failing to secure a clean sheet in its last six competitive matches.
The team’s defensive streak of conceding goals extended following a 1-1 draw against Feirense. Coach Ricardo Sousa has made tightening the defense a top priority for Vizela’s upcoming fixture against Farense.
Despite their defensive vulnerabilities, Vizela has still managed to find the net in five of those six recent games.
The only loss during this period was a 1-0 defeat to Chaves in October. That particular match saw midfielder José Sampaio and forward Heinz Mörschel both receive red cards.
Separately, tickets for Vizela’s away game against Farense are now available for purchase online and at the club’s store. All club members are entitled to receive two complimentary tickets. An organized trip for fans to Faro, where the match will be held, is priced at approximately $22.
