Legendary actor Dharmendra’s ashes were immersed in the sacred Ganges River in Haridwar, India, on December 3, 2025. The final rituals were conducted by his grandson, Karan Deol, with his father, actor Sunny Deol, and the rest of the Deol family present. This solemn ceremony marked the culmination of the mourning period for the beloved Bollywood veteran.
The family arrived at the Pilibhit House ghat in Haridwar’s Shravan Nath Nagar area around 11:00 AM local time. Religious rites were performed in the presence of priests before the ashes were consigned to the river.

Dharmendra passed away on November 24, 2025, in Mumbai after a prolonged illness. He was 89 years old, and his 90th birthday would have been celebrated on December 8.
The actor had been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital for several days before his condition deteriorated. After his passing, the Deol family organized a prayer meet in Mumbai, which saw attendance from numerous film industry figures.

Dharmendra remained active in films even in his later years. His final film, ‘Ikkis,’ is scheduled for release on December 25.
