Hollywood’s biggest stars gathered for the 35th annual Gotham Film Awards. The event celebrated independent film achievements on Monday, December 1, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
The Gotham Film & Media Institute presented the awards. Nominations for this prestigious event were first announced in October.
Paul Thomas Anderson’s “One Battle After Another” led the nominations with six nods. These included recognition for Best Director and Breakthrough Performer for Chase Infiniti.
Mary Bronstein’s “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You” also received significant attention. It secured four nominations.
Meanwhile, “It Was Just an Accident” by Jafar Panahi garnered three nominations. Park Chan-wook’s “No Other Choice” also earned three nominations.
Other notable actors recognized this year include Jacob Elordi for “Frankenstein.” Adam Sandler was nominated for his role in “Jay Kelly.”
Amanda Seyfried received a nomination for “The Testament of Ann Lee.” Jennifer Lawrence was also recognized for her work in “Die My Love.”
