Kim Zolciak Fights Ex’s Contempt Claim Over Andy Cohen Divorce Talk

Kim Zolciak has denied her estranged husband Kroy Biermann’s claim that she violated a court order. Biermann accused Zolciak of speaking publicly about their divorce.

Zolciak, a former star of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ filed court documents on November 14. This was in response to Biermann’s allegations of contempt.

She specifically denied any court order to submit documents or a breach of rules by discussing the divorce. Her public comments occurred on ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’ and Kristin Cavallari’s podcast tour.

Zolciak further stated that the court-appointed officer, who spoke with her and the children, does not support the contempt allegations. She requested that Biermann be ordered to cover her legal fees incurred while defending against these accusations.

Biermann filed his motion on October 15, asking the court to hold Zolciak in contempt. He alleged she failed to provide requested financial documents by a March 31 deadline.

He also claimed Zolciak violated their temporary custody agreement by publicly discussing their ongoing divorce.

Biermann’s motion asserted that Zolciak made appearances on two television programs to discuss the divorce. He accused her of claiming he did not contribute financially to the family and stole her personal belongings.

During her August appearance on ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,’ Zolciak reportedly spoke about the divorce and her “new boyfriend.” Biermann’s filing also claimed she “boasted about her spectacular new million-dollar home.”

The motion concluded that Zolciak has repeatedly demonstrated “total disregard for court orders.”

The judge has not yet issued a ruling on the contempt matter.

Zolciak and Biermann were married for 11 years, tying the knot in 2011 and separating in 2023. Their divorce agreement remains unfinished.

In a separate legal development, Zolciak has been drawn into the ongoing divorce of her new boyfriend, Kyle Mowitz. Mowitz’s estranged wife, Jillian Green, issued a subpoena for Zolciak to appear for a deposition.

The subpoena demands all communications between Zolciak and Mowitz. It also seeks any communications between Zolciak and a third party related to payments or discussions concerning Mowitz, Green, their children, or the divorce.

Green additionally requested all financial documents pertaining to Zolciak’s relationship with Kyle Mowitz. This includes gifts given or received, expenses paid on her behalf, and any money exchanged.

Zolciak criticized Green for publicly serving the subpoena at her son’s high school. She asserted that she was already in contact with Green’s lawyers regarding the subpoena. Green, however, accused Zolciak of intentionally delaying the legal process.

Marvin Solomiany, Mowitz’s attorney, previously commented on the situation. He stated his client would not litigate the facts of his divorce case outside of relevant legal proceedings.

Solomiany called Green’s decision to involve Zolciak “entirely unnecessary.” He emphasized that any relationship between Mowitz and Zolciak began only after Mowitz’s separation from Green.
