Brazilian esports powerhouse FURIA has unveiled a significantly internationalized VALORANT roster for the upcoming 2026 VCT Americas season, featuring only one Brazilian player in its starting lineup.
This strategic shift emphasizes global talent, mirroring FURIA’s successful internationalization efforts with its Counter-Strike 2 team earlier in 2025.
The new five-player lineup includes Arthur “artzin” Araujo from Brazil as a duelist, Daniel “eeiu” Vucenovic from Bosnia as a controller, GianFranco “koalanoob” Potestio from Italy in a flex role, and Michael “nerve” Yerrow from the United States as an in-game leader and controller. Torogul “alym” Baidyldaev from Kyrgyzstan rounds out the starting five as a duelist.
The team is set to make its debut on Thursday, December 4, at the Sentinels Invitational.

Luiz “basic” Tessaro, another Brazilian player who missed 2025 due to visa issues, will serve as the sixth player on the roster.
The coaching staff includes Ian “shaW” Jardim as head coach and Lucas “Kamino” Kamino as assistant coach.
The Sentinels Invitational, an event organized by Sentinels, will also feature prominent teams 100 Thieves and Shopify Rebellion Black. FURIA made the official roster announcement on Monday, December 1.
