“Quién es la Máscara” has entered its final episodes with a surprising double elimination. Neither of the celebrity panelists correctly guessed the identities of the two unmasked stars. This highlights the show’s successful ability to maintain mystery.
Comedian and actor Eduardo España, 54, was revealed as “Samurái.” He commented that investigators compared him to “everyone but myself.” Panelists had guessed names like Sergio Goyri, Eduardo Yáñez, Jaime Camil, and Sergio Sendel.
España praised the show’s production. He stated, “The show’s writers are incredible.”
Later, actor Diego Klein, 37, was unmasked as “Capibara.” Klein recently starred in “Con esa misma mirada.” No investigator correctly identified him either.
Panelists had suggested Pablo Cruz, Gabriel Soto, and José Eduardo Derbez. Klein expressed his enjoyment of the experience. He said, “You don’t know how beautiful this experience was, I have a lot of affection for you all.”
Klein celebrated the fact that his identity remained hidden. He noted, “You get the star for nobody guessing who you were.”
Only six characters remain in the competition. The grand finale is anticipated for Sunday, December 21. Four more characters are expected to be eliminated in the next two episodes.
The remaining characters are Hieny Fer, Carro Ñero, Maestro Bops, Nocturna, Metaliebre, and Tropicoco.
The panel of investigators includes Juanpa Zurita, Carlos Rivera, Ana Brenda Contreras, and Anahí Puente. Contreras joined as a replacement for Martha Higareda due to her pregnancy.
The next episode of “Quién es la Máscara” airs Sunday, December 7. It will be broadcast at 8:30 pm ET/7:30 pm C. Viewers can watch on Canal de Las Estrellas in Mexico and Univision in the United States.
