Manchester United legend David Beckham has reiterated his confidence in manager Ruben Amorim, citing signs of evolution despite the team’s inconsistent performance this season.
Beckham told Sky Sports he sees the coach “changing things” and making adjustments that are leading to “some better results.” He acknowledged there is “still a long way to go” and that the team has not always played well.
“But I think we have a good coach and he is changing things little by little,” Beckham added. He had previously voiced his support for the Portuguese coach in May.
Amorim’s Manchester United secured a victory yesterday against Crystal Palace. This win followed a period of two draws and one loss in their previous three matches.
The club currently sits in seventh place in the league standings. They are positioned just outside the European qualification zone.
Manchester United has accumulated 21 points so far. This places them four points behind second-placed Manchester City and nine points adrift of league leaders Arsenal.
Beckham noted that he has observed progress since the team endured a challenging start to the season. The club has been seeking greater stability under Amorim’s leadership.
