Benfica has dismissed reports linking the Portuguese club to Juventus left-winger Filip Kostic, despite claims from an Italian journalist.
Sources within Benfica informed the Portuguese newspaper Record that Kostic is not part of their transfer plans.
This denial contradicts an earlier report on Monday by Italian journalist Nicolò Schira, who stated that the Serbian international was a target for the Lisbon-based club.

Benfica is actively looking to strengthen its left-wing attack.
The club currently faces limited options in that position following Aktürkoglü’s transfer to Galatasaray and Bruma’s injury.
Kostic, 33, is nearing the end of his contract with Juventus.
Juventus is scheduled to play Benfica in January. Last season, Kostic was on loan from Juventus to Fenerbahçe, where he played under coach José Mourinho.
Filip Kostić, Thank you for everything and all the best for your next adventure! ❤️
