Caracol TV has announced significant new details for the highly anticipated third season of “La Reina del Flow.” The Colombian teleseries is set to premiere its first episode in 2026. This confirmation comes after a period of uncertainty, even though the release timeline was somewhat expected.
The network released a synopsis that includes five key revelations about the upcoming season. These details shed light on new enemies, a pivotal new character, and the fate of fan-favorite Yeimy Montoya. Her potential death had been the subject of numerous fan theories.
The new season will see Yeimy Montoya suffer a dramatic accident and subsequently disappear. This event sends shockwaves throughout the series’ world, with rumors of homicide quickly emerging and implicating Charly Flow, who finally became her partner at the end of the second season. Actress Carolina RamÃrez, who portrays Yeimy, previously hinted at a positive outcome for her own experience, stating the ending was “marvelously well” for Carolina RamÃrez, the actress.
A new character, Sky, will play a fundamental role. Sky is portrayed by singer and actress Alisson Joan. Following Yeimy Montoya’s disappearance, Sky takes on a central position in the narrative. Sky begins as a talented auto mechanic before rising to become the new star of Charly and Yeimy’s music production company. Caracol TV stated that “Sky will bring new emotions to the story.”
The series will also feature a new music production house called Soul&Bass. This company fulfills a long-held dream for Charly and Yeimy, one they had cherished since childhood. Its creation signifies the enduring nature of their love, especially as they now share a second child, Alma. Juan Camilo Mesa, known as ‘Juancho’ and played by Andrés Sandoval, will not return for this season.
A significant time jump places the new season four years after the events of the second. This jump reveals that Charly and Yeimy are not only still together but are now married. The four-year leap ensures that their daughter Alma, previously an infant, will be a four-year-old girl, allowing for her increased involvement in the story. Specific details about Alma’s scenes or appearances remain unconfirmed.
Mike Rivera is confirmed to return as the primary antagonist, alongside new villains known as “los Vallejo.” Mike, still incarcerated, seeks revenge and plans to dismantle Charly and Yeimy’s legacy. He is aided by “los Vallejo,” a group of hackers who became his admirers, possibly due to his past influence with the ‘Grey Shark’ production company. Caracol TV reveals that Mike Rivera is “about to leave prison with his friends, the Vallejo, who seek to build a new music production company, with which they believe they will end Soul&Bass.”
“La Reina del Flow 3” is poised to deliver a tumultuous narrative filled with intense emotions, from love and jealousy to hate. The series will continue to feature its signature musical elements. The season is anticipated to be a major hit in 2026, first airing on Caracol TV before its expected release on Netflix.
