The second stage of the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Counter-Strike 2 tournament is set to begin Saturday with an immediate clash between the only two Brazilian teams in that phase, Imperial and MIBR.
The highly anticipated best-of-one match is scheduled for Saturday, November 29, at 3:00 PM UTC (12:00 PM BrasÃlia time).
This opening encounter guarantees that one Brazilian team will advance further in Stage 2, while the other will face an early exit from this portion of the global competition.
Four Brazilian teams initially participated in the tournament’s first stage, which concluded on Thursday, November 27. Imperial was the sole squad to successfully navigate that initial phase and secure a spot in Stage 2.
MIBR, the other Brazilian contender, had previously earned a direct entry into the second stage.
Beyond this direct clash, two additional Brazilian teams, FURIA and paiN Gaming, have already secured their positions directly in Stage 3, the final phase of the Major.
The top eight teams emerging from Stage 2 will also proceed to Stage 3.
