Marisa Alija, the representative for Brazilian striker Hulk, has publicly stated her readiness to discuss a potential transfer, even as Atlético Mineiro’s president denies any club interest in negotiating his departure.
Alija’s comments come amidst widespread media speculation linking the prominent player to other teams. Hulk remains under contract with Atlético Mineiro until the end of 2026.
The agent clarified that she has received no contact from the club regarding discussions about Hulk’s current contract.
She recounted a conversation with Atlético Mineiro President Sérgio Coelho. President Coelho assured her that neither he nor the club’s shareholders held any interest in negotiating Hulk’s sale.
This discussion followed what Alija described as an “equivocal and misinterpreted” comment by club director Bracks, which had suggested a different stance from the club.
Alija reiterated her professional approach, stating, “If Atlético is interested in negotiating Hulk, there is no problem, we will sit down and resolve it.”
She emphasized, “We entered through the front door, and that is how we always leave all the clubs he has been with,” signaling a willingness to engage constructively.
Hulk’s situation continues to generate significant media attention in Brazil.
