Muchhal’s cousin sister posted on social media earlier this week, stating her brother was going through a difficult time. She urged people not to judge him. She also dismissed the alleged chat as fake.
However, her post drew immediate backlash from social media users. Commenters accused her of supporting an alleged “cheater.” Users referenced Mary DeCosta’s Instagram stories as evidence against Muchhal.

Mandhana has removed videos of her mehndi and haldi ceremonies from her Instagram account. However, older photographs of the couple remain visible. Mary DeCosta has also reportedly addressed the situation in an Instagram post.
