Video game developer Stoic is leveraging an early access program, including a “Silver DLC,” for its cooperative action-RPG Towerborne, blending dynamic combat with community-driven development ahead of a global launch. The game, which first entered early access in 2024, offers a mix of side-scrolling brawler mechanics and action-RPG depth.
The Silver DLC serves as one pathway for players to gain early access and receive exclusive benefits, supporting the project’s development. Towerborne is slated for a full release “soon” but is currently available for pre-purchase.
It is priced at R$55.24 (approximately $11.05 USD) with a 35% discount, a figure reported as current as of November 27, 2025, and subject to change.
Key features highlighted by Stoic include fast-paced brawler combat with deep ARPG customization. Players can equip characters with unique weapons and items, developing distinct stats and builds.
The game heavily emphasizes loot collection and the strategic choice of companions with their own abilities. Towerborne supports online cooperative play for up to four players.
Stoic has committed to ongoing expansion of the game world, promising new regions, enemies, weapons, and events. This continuous development will incorporate feedback from the player community.
The developer has also focused on global accessibility. Since 2024, the game has received multi-language localization, including Brazilian Portuguese.
Towerborne aims for broad hardware compatibility, with accessible system requirements. A minimum setup requires Windows 10/11 64-bit, a quad-core processor (approx. 3.2 GHz), 16 GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GTX 1000 series or AMD RX 590 graphics card.
Recommended specifications are slightly higher, including a quad-core processor (approx. 3.4 GHz) and an NVIDIA RTX 2070 or AMD RX 5700 XT GPU. Both configurations require DirectX Version 12, 25 GB of free storage (SSD recommended for optimal performance), and a broadband internet connection.
