Thirty-two elite esports teams will converge in Bangkok, Thailand, this Friday to begin the PUBG Global Championship 2025, battling for a share of a US$1.5 million prize pool in the pinnacle event for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS.
The substantial prize fund was announced by PUBG Esports Brasil.
Teams like FURIA and ROC Esports will represent Brazil directly in the global competition. Pedro “sparkingg” Ribeiro also competes, playing for Team Liquid.
The championship spans several weeks of intense competition, with the world champion to be crowned on December 14. All matches will take place in the Thai capital.
The tournament begins with a Group Stage, running from November 28 through December 3. Teams are divided into two groups of 16.
The top five teams from each group will advance directly to the Grand Final. The next eight teams from each group will move to the Stage Final. The bottom three from each group will be eliminated after 18 drops.
The Stage Final is scheduled for December 5 to December 7. Sixteen teams will compete for five remaining Grand Final berths, with the other 11 teams eliminated from the tournament.
The Grand Final will occur from December 12 to December 14. Fifteen qualified teams will join FULL SENSE, a local invite, to play 18 drops over three days and determine the world champion.
Fans worldwide can follow the action live. Official PUBG Brasil channels on Twitch and YouTube will broadcast the entire event.
