Imperial Secures 2-2 Record, Advances to CS2 Major Decider Match

Brazilian Counter-Strike 2 teams Imperial, Fluxo, and Legacy are set to compete in decisive matches Thursday, aiming to advance past the initial phase of the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 after one domestic squad was eliminated.

Imperial secured a vital 2-0 victory against The Huns on Wednesday during the tournament’s opening stage. This best-of-three series saw Imperial win 13-8 on Nuke and 16-12 on Mirage.

The win moved Imperial to a 2-2 record in the ongoing competition. This result keeps their hopes alive for a spot in the Major’s second stage.

Fellow Brazilian team RED Canids, however, was eliminated from the Major after a decisive loss to FaZe.

Fluxo, Legacy, and Imperial now each need to secure one more victory to guarantee their progression. MIBR, another Brazilian organization, has already confirmed its spot in the next phase.

Opponents and precise match times for Thursday’s crucial games have not yet been announced.
