Priyanka Chopra has returned to her Los Angeles home after completing filming in Hyderabad. She shared a cheerful selfie on her social media story, which quickly garnered affection from fans.
The selfie shows Chopra on her home’s roof, dressed casually and making a ‘V’ (victory) sign. She captioned the image simply, “Home,” accompanied by a red heart emoji. Her return reunites her with husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie.
Chopra had been in Hyderabad shooting for her highly anticipated film, ‘Varanasi’. The project is directed by SS Rajamouli, a renowned filmmaker.
In ‘Varanasi’, Chopra stars opposite South Indian superstar Mahesh Babu. Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is also set to appear as the antagonist. The film is described as an adventure story. Mahesh Babu plays a devotee of Shiva who embarks on a quest for an ancient artifact.
‘Varanasi’ is scheduled for a 2027 release across multiple languages. It will be available in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Beyond acting, Chopra recently added a producer credit to her resume. She produced the documentary ‘Born Hungry’. This film chronicles the story of Sash, a child who faced significant hardships during his upbringing. Chopra expressed a personal connection to Sash’s narrative. She noted that his search for identity resonated with her own experiences of growing up between Indian and American cultures.
