Influencer Orry, known for his close ties to Bollywood star kids, was questioned by Mumbai Police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) on Wednesday. This interrogation is part of a high-profile drug case.
Orry, whose full name is Orhan Awatramani, had initially failed to appear after receiving a summons. He was first called for questioning on November 20.
He informed police he was unavailable until November 25, requesting an alternative date. A second summons was then issued on November 21 for November 26.
During the period he was expected to comply, Orry was reportedly sharing videos from a Travis Scott music concert on social media. He finally appeared before the ANC unit in Ghatkopar on Wednesday at 1 PM.
The drug case involves substances valued at over $30 million USD. Actor Siddhanth Kapoor, brother of popular actress Shraddha Kapoor, was also questioned for five hours in connection with the same investigation on Tuesday.
This is not Orry’s first encounter with controversy. In March of this year, a complaint was filed against him and others. They allegedly held a liquor party in a hotel near Vaishno Devi, a region where alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited. That particular incident eventually subsided.
Orry maintains a high profile due to his frequent appearances at Bollywood parties and celebrity gatherings. He is widely recognized for his signature pose and his close friendships with figures such as Janhvi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, and Aryan Khan.
