Actress Genelia Deshmukh celebrated her elder son Riaan’s 11th birthday on November 25. The celebrity mom shared a heartfelt tribute on social media for the special occasion.
She posted three sweet photographs with her son on Instagram. These images captured mother and son enjoying playful moments together. One photo also showed Riaan posing with a friend.

In an emotional accompanying note, Deshmukh reflected on Riaan’s journey into adolescence. She noted how he is making his own choices and becoming less dependent.
“Dear Riaan, it feels like it was your first birthday yesterday and today it’s your 11th,” she wrote. “You are growing up, choosing your own path, depending less on me… but I like it best when you make me a part of your world. There is a boy I love very much, and who calls me ‘Aai’ (mother).”
Deshmukh vowed to always be Riaan’s biggest supporter. She also stated she would be a strict critic if needed. Her primary role remains his mother, dedicated to helping him become his best self. She ended the message with “Happy Birthday my baby boy.”
Genelia and Riteish Deshmukh first met in 2003 on the set of their film “Tujhe Meri Kasam.” They starred in several movies together, including “Masti.” The couple married in 2012 and have two sons, Riaan and Rahyl.
