A highly anticipated match between Sporting Braga and Sporting Lisbon will headline the upcoming Round of 16 in the Women’s Portuguese Cup, following a draw held on Monday.
The draw set the stage for eight fixtures scheduled to be played on December 13 and 14. The clash between Braga and Sporting is considered a marquee event, pitting two of Portugal’s top women’s football clubs against each other.
Another prominent fixture sees Damaiense host Benfica. FC Porto will also compete, facing Juv. Force in their Round of 16 encounter.
Other teams progressing to this stage include Feirense, who will play Rio Ave. Torreense is set to meet U. Leiria. Marítimo will take on Valadares Gaia.
Futebol Benfica is drawn against Famalicão. Gil Vicente will play V. Guimarães to complete the round.
