Two prominent figures were unmasked in the latest episode of “Quién es la Máscara,” the popular reality competition. On November 23, presenter Wendy Guevara and actor Rodrigo Murray revealed their identities.
Guevara had been performing as “María Ovina,” a charming sheep character. Murray was disguised as “Federico García,” an orca.
Investigator Carlos Rivera accurately predicted Wendy Guevara’s identity. She playfully called him “a wizard.”
Guevara, 32, stated she tried to speak minimally to avoid giving away her voice. She joked that some viewers might have thought she was Alejandra Guzmán.
The winner of “La Casa de los Famosos” Season 1 described the experience as an incredible and unprecedented challenge. She enjoyed the fun of performing and interacting under the disguise.
Rodrigo Murray, a 56-year-old Mexican actor and TV host, was the second contestant unmasked. His reveal surprised the investigators, who were confused even by his height.
Murray competed against characters “Hieny Fer” and “Carro Ñero.” He expressed triumph in his elimination, stating he “won everything: friends, experience, fun, and understanding the game.”
He added that he gained a place in his career he never imagined. Murray received applause for his positive attitude.
Eight characters remain in the competition as the finale of “Quién es la Máscara” approaches. Based on previous seasons, the final episode could air on December 21.
The remaining contestants are Hieny Fer, Capibara, Carro Ñero, Maestro Bops, Nocturna, Metaliebre, Samurai, and Tropicoco.
The investigator panel features Juanpa Zurita, Carlos Rivera, and Ana Brenda Contreras. Contreras joined the team, replacing Martha Higareda due to her pregnancy.
The next episode of “Quién es la Máscara” will air on Sunday, November 30. It broadcasts at 8:00 PM ET / 7:00 PM CT.
Viewers can watch the show on Canal de Las Estrellas in Mexico. It is also available on Univision channels in the United States.
