Anivesh Shrivastava, the younger son of late renowned composer Aadesh Shrivastava, was involved in a car accident early Sunday morning in Mumbai. His Range Rover reportedly crashed into a public square named after his father.
The high-speed collision occurred in the Lokhandwala area, causing significant damage to the square. A statue of Aadesh Shrivastava, which was installed there years ago, was also reportedly knocked down.

Reports indicate that the red Range Rover, featuring Haryana license plates, is registered under the name of Aadesh Shrivastava’s wife, Vijayta Pandit. Anivesh was seen near the damaged vehicle in a photo circulating on social media.
The square had been renamed in honor of Aadesh Shrivastava some years ago. Anivesh, along with his mother Vijayta and elder brother Avitesh, had attended the renaming ceremony.

It remains unclear whether a police complaint has been officially filed regarding the incident.
Aadesh Shrivastava was a highly respected composer in the Indian entertainment industry. He began his career as a drummer in the 1980s for legends like R.D. Burman and Rakesh Roshan.
He rose to prominence as an independent composer in the 1990s, gaining success with the 1993 film ‘Kanyadaan’. Shrivastava then composed hit songs for popular films including ‘Major Saab,’ ‘Chalte Chalte,’ ‘Baghban,’ ‘Apaharan,’ and ‘Raajneeti.’
He also appeared as a judge on the reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ in 2005. Aadesh Shrivastava passed away in 2015 after a battle with cancer.
