Cricketer Smriti Mandhana’s Wedding Postponed: Father and Fiance Fall Ill

Music composer Palash Muchhal was recently hospitalized following a sudden health deterioration, mere days after his wedding to cricketer Smriti Mandhana was postponed. The delay occurred due to a medical emergency involving Mandhana’s father.

Muchhal, Mandhana’s fiancé, was admitted to a private hospital for treatment. Media reports indicated his health took an unexpected turn.

Doctors diagnosed Muchhal with a viral infection and acidity. His condition was not considered serious.

He was discharged after receiving treatment and has since returned to his hotel.

The couple’s wedding, scheduled for Sunday, was initially postponed after Smriti Mandhana’s father, Srinivas Mandhana, fell ill. His health rapidly declined just before the main wedding rituals were set to begin.

Mr. Mandhana was promptly admitted to a private hospital in Sangli for urgent medical attention. Doctors later confirmed his condition was stable.

Smriti Mandhana’s manager released a statement on Sunday, providing an update on her father’s health and confirming the wedding’s postponement. The mehendi and sangeet ceremonies had taken place the previous night at the Mandhana family farmhouse in Sangli.

Palash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana, a popular Bollywood music composer and acclaimed cricketer respectively, have been in a long-term relationship. The couple began dating in 2019.

They are frequently seen together at family events and public outings. Their wedding functions had generated significant buzz before the unfortunate series of health issues.
